In order to improve its services, Finn-Metacon has expanded its activities into the very latest laser technology. This new direction allows us to carry out various subcontracting works.

Laser processing for RST plates and tubular details

With the help of laser technology, different, suitable, and more economic production technologies for the customer are achieved, which is supported by traditional know-how in the metalworking industry.

We have the Amada Promecam LC2415-aIII laser processing centre on a roller table at our disposal. This is designed for processing thin plates without scraping them. By using the processing centre’s accessory device, tubular details with a diameter of up to 250mm can be processed. Using this method connections and holes with different shapes can easily be made in tubes and curved surfaces. Thanks to the available 3kW of power no post-processing is necessary.

In addition to laser processing, our company can deliver more traditional metalworking know-how and technology as a subcontractor. The customer does not have to transport their products to the next pre-processing location but instead receives from our company a more finely processed product. This way production is not spread between too many locations and the customer can save considerably in money and time.
